Rings

In the Jewish religion, we have to get married with plain bands - no diamonds allowed. I am getting married using my grandmother's wedding band since it is plain gold and the wedding band I picked out is a diamond band. This is extremely significant to me since she passed away before I was even born and so I now feel that she will be with me on my day. Danny's grandmother wanted to buy my wedding band and we went to look at it on the day her husband passed away 6 years ago. This is also very touching to me because I didn't get to meet Danny's grandfather, and his grandmother is truly a grandmother to me since mine aren't alive. When I look at my wedding bands, it  not only signifies my life with Danny forever but reminds me that all my grandparents are always with me, wherever I go.

When we pick up the rings, I'll post pics!
